Celebrating Father's Day

As everyone knows, today is Father's Day.

To celebrate, my son, Ken, came in to see the Jays game with his old man. He works nights and although he worked all last night and has to work tonight, he decided to forfeit some valuable sleep, take the bus in from Hamilton to do it.

It was a fun time. We yakked, caught up and enjoyed a few innings of a Jays lead before the bullpen blew up and the Jays went down to defeat 9-6. As usual, they had a fighting chance at the end.

Ken had to catch a bus home right after, to catch a few Zzzzs before work so we grabbed a dog at one of the few remaining stands in the G20 security area.

I appreciate the effort Ken went through to have a few hours with his Dad. Thanks, Ken, for a nice Father's Day!
