Winter Waterfowl

Today Teena and I headed over to Sunnyside beach to take a few winter shots. I always wonder how birds like ducks survive winter with so little to eat. These ones below could use some better grooming.

It was cloudy out which made everything look colder than it was.

I don`t know what this bird is called but it was zipping along through the water.

Just as we were leaving, this duck came swimming along close to us. I am not using the rule of thirds here with this shot. It was just a fast swimmer.

We'll have to head back down to take some more shots on a nicer day.
