Just as many other thousands of us, I am heavier than I would like to be. And just like many other thousands of us, one of my New Year's resolutions is to get it off.
March 26th of this year is the last Friday before I take off for Dallas to fence in the North American Cup (NAC). By that date, I want to weigh 200 pounds. To accomplish this means that I will need to drop 26.2 pounds. 26 pounds by March 26!
It's something I have done before and know I can do again.
Teena and I are buckling down to eat healthier. No diet, no Dr B... just bring the weight off naturally by living healthier.
We did the online version of Weight Watchers a few years ago very successfully. If we did it successfully then why do I need to lose weight?
I lost 58 pounds but gained back 28 over the past couple of years, so kept most of it off. What we learned from the program is how to eat healthier, which we will apply again.
Won't be counting points for food but eating better. Beer is a downfall of mine and, while I won't be cutting it out, I will use the Weight Watcher point system for this. When I was on the program before, I used the bonus points for beer. Going to do this again.
Time to get it off and keep it off!
