Tasting NoteMedium gold in colour, the nose suggests aromas of fresh malt and light orange blossom. It is light, clean and fresh on the attack developing into a balanced, slightly bitter, and long malty finish.

This week I picked up a six pack of Stratford Pilsner made by the Stratford Brewing Company. I like their motto, "Beer, as you like it". Quite catchy and true.

I enjoy pilsners and found this to be a very likable beer. According to the website this is their signature beer, an all natural Czech style. I found it to be a lighter tasting pilsner, with a refreshing with a sour bite to it.

Certainly worth a 7 out of 10.

Yesterday Teena and I hit the Crown and Tiger pub On College at Bathurst. See the review below. Excellent spot.

They have pitchers for $10 and one of the draughts was from Stratford Brewery. Now a good reporter would have written down what the bartender had to say about this beer, but I figured that I could just grab the info off the brewery website. The bartender was describing the unique brewing method of this particular beer and I was anxious to research this more once I got home. Of course the website only talks about their signature brew, the Pilsner.

The draught I had was a darker style ale with a good bite to it. Quite enjoyable and a 7 out of 10.

I will need to return to the Crown and Anchor another day for further research.
