Our 5K Power Walk?

Today Teena and I decided to head out for a 5K walk.

We set out to head down to the lake, get some fresh air and some good exercise. A beautiful day and a great idea.

We headed over to Strachan and then down to Coronation Park. Then we headed west along the water and came to Ontario Place. Admission this year is free so in we went.

The views of Toronto from there are fabulous!

It is very much a family park. Kids love the water park, rides and buskers.

It was a warm day down by the water and we found a nice place for a beer by the water and watch the boats go by.

We left and made our way to the Marina Grille which has a great dock side patio. Yes, our 5K power walk was no more.

Then after leaving the Marina Grille, Teena thought it would be a great idea to take a helicopter ride around the city. A helicopter ride? That is a blog post all on its own. We didn't get the 5K done but we sure had fun!
