The CNE Skyride

After the TFC game, Teena and I decided to try the new ride at the CNE called the Sky Ride. It costs just $5 and takes about 10 minutes, which really is a great deal! It was about a 15 minute line-up to take the trip.
Extending 40 feet above ground at its highest point, the Sky Ride will enthrall CNE visitors as they are elevated into the air and transported across the grounds towards the historic Princes’ Gates, or alternatively west towards BMO Field.
We caught the ride just outside of BMO Field. It is a colourful trip across. The line-up seemed much longer at the other end.
Forty feet up is as high as the Drop Zone ride. It is a nice view of the city too.
Afterwards we made our way to the Wine Garden which featured craft beers. Along the way, we passed a cactus competition. Here is the winner and my favorite.
Finally here we are relaxing with a drink and listening to a good jazz trio. Teena's post on our Ex visit is here.
