Vacation Day 1, First Night in Saint Pierre Maquelon

We finally made it to Saint Pierre just after 7pm tonight. We checked into the Nuit Saint Pierre, and then headed right out for supper. The room is very nice!
We had a coupon to L'Atelier Gourmand down by the water so down we headed and quickly were led to a place on the patio overlooking the harbour. That was were the good service ended. It took nearly half an hour to place an order for our wine and supper and about another 15 to 20 minutes for the wine to come. The waiter said they were busy inside.

Too bad! We are paying customers too. We would have left but having only been in town for less than 3 hours, knew of no other place around.

Our meals finally came. Teena order her steak well done. It was far from it.
I ordered La Brochettede le mers Saint Jacque et Bacon Buerre d' Ail, which was scallops and bacon on a hanging skewer. I saw someone eating it inside and it looked fun. Instead it was quite frustrating to eat. Oh, it was also cold. I was starved and not sending it back. I had already waited far to long for cold food. Where is Ramsey when you need him!
We definitely will be avoiding this place for the rest of our time here. If you are in Saint Pierre, you should too!
