In Stratford there are 2 historic plaques placed under the Ontario Heritage Act that concern the old
Grand Trunk Railway.
The one above is on the platform of the Stratford Train Station.
I do enjoy the design of old railway stations and this one is no exception. I like how Via Rail has kept the old Grand Trunk sign above the main entrance.

The next plaque is just down the street. The plaque says the house is a "flatiron" design but I don't really think so. It is a strangely designed building. I wonder if Via Rail gives their "bootmakers" today their own house. I wonder if Via now even has "bootmakers"?
