Zak's Diner in Ottawa

Saturday night as I walked through Ottawa Byward Market, I happened upon a brightly lit, clean looking 1950's style diner. Open 24 hours a day, it was the perfect place for me to grab breakfast the next morning as I could go no matter how early or late I got up.

Zak's Diner has been open for business since 1986. I loved the atmosphere and the decor of the place. I was seated as soon as I walked in and a waiter provided me with great service. I ordered ZAK"S FAMOUS BIG BREAKFAST for $7.99, which is served all day. For this I had 2 eggs easy over and done right, 4 slices of crisp bacon, home fries, baked beans, toast & jam.

I love my breakfast and sure enjoyed this one. If I'm in the Byward market area, I'll hit this place again for any meal.
