Home Away from Home in Kingston

Usually when I come to Kingston for a tournament and have to stay overnight, I do so downtown at the historic Queens Inn. I like it there and it's close to the Kingston Brewing Company brewpub.

This time I'm in Kingston for the Veteran Can/Am Cup. I got a great deal through Expedia to stay at another hotel and am paying half of what I usually pay. The place is clean and OK. The halls have a bit of an odor but the rooms are clean and odor free.

This is a two story with hotel so I asked to stay on the main floor as it would be easier to haul my gear around.

The room has a nice TV, free WIFI, a big fridge and a king size bed! I like lower end places instead of the fancy expensive ones, as you seem to get more.

Manhattan Sports Bar and Grill is attached. The server could not find a dinner menu, definitely not a good sign. I asked what was on tap. I saw 8 taps. All were Bud! Needless to say I did not eat there and won;t return.

Supper in my room. Harveys does make a hamburger a beautiful thing!
