Souvenirs For Gord From British Columbia - Beer!

Teena had to go to Kelowna, BC, on business. When she returned, she had a very heavy bag ... heavy as it was filled with beer. Beer for me!

Teena rocks!

I am surprised at times that she has never been charged for overweight luggage.

So what all did she haul home for me?

All 6 bottles are large 650ml bottles and the can was a 500ml can of Tree Cutthroat Pale Ale. I had their Thirsty Beaver Amber Ale before. I am looking forward to it.

She also brought me back a beer from Phillips Brewery. She brought me back their Hop Circle last time she was there, which I loved. This time, knowing I love IPAs, she brought me 2 Amnesiac Double IPA. Can't wait to get at those.

When you start trying new beers, you may never run out of breweries. Included in my gifts were 2 breweries in BC, I have never heard of. Tin Whistle Brewing is out of Penticton, BC, and I have 2 of their beers to taste, their Killer Bee Dark Honey Ale and Black Widow Mild Ale.

I've never heard of Mt Begbie Brewing either but have their Tall Timber Ale to try. You can't judge a beer by its label, but the label is fun.

Rogue is a brewery in the U.S. which is well-respected by beer geeks. I have reviewed them before, very favorably, with their Brutal Bitter. I am looking forward to trying the Dead Guy Pale Ale.

You will be reading my reviews on every one and all because I have a very thoughtful wife.

Thanks again, Teena!
