First it was 26 by March 26. I wanted to lose 26 pounds by March 26. It was a lofty goal which I missed but did manage to lose 12 pounds in 12 weeks. Nice pace.
Then on April 7th I decided to keep that pace and lose 17 pounds in 17 weeks. I lost the first few weeks but then got sidetracked. I weighed in this morning. The bad news was that I did not lose any weight. The good news was that I did not gain any weight.
So now it's 17 in 17, only I am only reseting the start date on the clock. Most will diet in the spring to look good in the summer. I want to maintain a healthy, fun and balanced lifestyle, which means the weight will come off, even though it is summer.
The weight will come off even though I love having a beer while I BBQ. The weight will come off while I sit on the terrace with a beer and listen to the ball game.
To make it more challenging, I am resetting the clock on a long weekend with one more beer school class ahead of me.
