Metro Hall "Indulge" Farmers' Market

Every summer at Metro Hall there is a farmers' market held on Thursdays. It is called Indulge, "Sights, Sounds and Flavours".

There are stands selling produce, bread, cheese, honey, coffee beans, plus five or six local restaurants selling lunches and a stage for live performances. I look forward to this every year.

During my morning break, I pick up fresh bagels and usually fresh roasted soybeans(this week they were out) plus a fresh made coffee, and sometimes coffee beans. I am now on a new kick where I bring home a style of cheese which I have never had before. This week it is aged Gouda goat cheese. It is very good. Teena did not enjoy the smell. I do know the Gouda won't last long anyways.

Another reason to enjoy breaks and lunch on Thursdays!

Market day is busy.

Local restaurant stands. From noon to one they are always lined up. This is shot around 1:45.

Samples at the Montforte Dairy Cheese stand is popular.

See the three cheese chunks at the top. They are Goat Cheese Gouda and the middle one came home with me.
