To Langlade by Zodiac

Today Teena and I took a full day tour of the islands of Langlade, and Miquelon, plus the sandy isthmus that connects them.

How did we get there? We headed out onto the ocean in a Zodiac. Not one with seats either. Instead, all 13 of us sat on the side of the rubber raft as we bounced across the waves. It was a blast!
Leaving Saint Pierre
We passed an island with puffin. It wasn't easy to get a close-up of the puffin with the boat bouncing on the waves but the white specks on shore are all puffins. The first shot shows them flying above us.
The sky cleared and the scenery was breathtaking.
A fishing village complete with fisherman.
More scenery.
We were surprised to find seals sunning themselves and swimming around.
After a 45 minute ride, we arrived. It was great to know that we get to do it all again on the way back!
